Or, maybe the most important thing to leave behind are your stories. Yes, inheriting money and other assets usually makes life easier for our heirs. And yes, putting the pieces in place for a smooth inheritance process is an undeniable help to them. But when you get down to it, what most of the living wish we could keep is the person themselves.
