Please Join Me in Supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

I’ll be walking in beautiful Nelson Memorial Park on Saturday, September 24.

I’m walking for my grandmother, my clients, and for all of us who will be there someday.  I’m walking to help reclaim the future for millions.

By participating in the 2022 Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™, I’m committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care, and support.

Currently, an estimated 55 million people are living with dementia and more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer’s.  That number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.  Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

  • Between 2000 and 2019, deaths from Alzheimer’s have more than doubled.
  • Alzheimer’s kills more than breast cancer and prostrate cancer combined.
  • One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.
  • In 2022, Alzheimer’s disease will cost the USA $321 billion.  The number is projected to rise to nearly $1 trillion in 2050.  Research funding will be more than $3.4 billion annually.

Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research into prevention, treatments, and a cure for Alzheimer’s.  For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support, and resources in communities nationwide.

Thank you for joining our movement!  The end of Alzheimer’s disease starts here.
