Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2023 – It’s Not Too Late

To everyone who has already so generously given – thank you!

And if you haven’t donated yet – it’s not too late!

I’ll be walking in beautiful Nelson Memorial Park on Saturday, October 14.  See here for event details.

I’m walking for my grandmother, my clients, and for all of us who will be there someday.  I’m walking to help reclaim the future for millions.

By participating in the 2023 Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™, I’m committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care, and support.

Currently, an estimated 50 million people are living with dementia and more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer’s.  Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

  • Between 2000 and 2019, deaths from Alzheimer’s have more than doubled.
  • Alzheimer’s kills more than breast cancer and prostrate cancer combined.
  • One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.
  • In 2023, Alzheimer’s disease will cost the USA $345 billion.  The number is projected to rise to nearly $1 trillion in 2050.  Research funding will be more than $3.4 billion annually.

Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research into prevention, treatments, and a cure for Alzheimer’s.  For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support, and resources in communities nationwide.

Thank you for joining our movement!  The end of Alzheimer’s disease starts here.
